Electric co-op distributes gifts to indigent consumers

THE Pampanga I Electric Cooperative, Inc. (Pelco I) distributed Christmas gifts to its member-consumers from marginalized communities in a simple activity held at the Pelco I main office in this town recently.

A total of 60 member-consumers from the towns of Arayat, Candaba, Magalang, Mexico, San Luis and Sta. Ana, with some with their family members spent their day at the Pelco I main office receiving bags of groceries and some cash.

In addition, the beneficiaries participated in parlor games.

“This is an opportunity for the electric cooperative to share blessings and provide joy to the less fortunate member-consumers who deserve to be given not only excellent services but also simple gestures of goodness,” Pelco I General Manager Loliano Allas said.

The activity was attended by Pelco I Board of Directors namely Engr. Edgardo Sagum, Ofelia Quizon, Darius Cunanan, Rodrigo Santiago and Roselle Sigua representing towns within the coverage areas of the electric cooperative. (DPL)
