THE stars of the new Netflix Original Series “You”—Penn Badgley and Shay Mitchell—will be in Manila this Jan. 14 and 15 to promote the series and meet with Filipino fans.
Badgley and Mitchell will interact with media on Jan. 14. On Jan. 15, there will be a special fan event at The Greenbelt Gallery, second level, Greenbelt 5, 5:30 p.m. onward. The event will give fans the chance to hang out at “Mooney’s” (inspired by the bookstore in the show) and probably meet the stars themselves.
Now streaming on Netflix, “You” stars Penn Badgley as Joe Goldberg, a long-time manager at boutique bookstore Mooney’s, where he meets and falls in love with Beck (Elizabeth Lail). Joe is mysterious, resourceful and is a chameleon. His obsessive love for Beck comes with a few challenges... one of them is Beck’s best friend, Peach Salinger, played by Shay Mitchell. Peach is the heir to the JD Salinger family and has her own complicated relationship with Beck.
