2,369 anti-riding-in-tandem violators nabbed

A TOTAL of 2,369 persons violated the anti-riding-in-tandem ordinance in Bacolod City from March 17 to December 31, 2018.

Records from Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) showed that 2,504 operations were conducted in 10 months.

An estimated P1,184,500 fine was collected from the violators.

The City Government of Bacolod is implementing the City Ordinance 832 Series of 2017 on riding-in-tandem.

Based on the ordinance, riding-in-tandem is prohibited from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. daily.
