NEGROS Occidental Second District Board Member Salvador Escalante Jr. remained as the top performer among the members of the august body in 2018.
Records of the Provincial Board showed that Escalante, who chairs the committee on appropriation, budget and finance, authored 269 resolutions and 30 ordinances.
He has also filed 549 resolutions under his committee.
Escalante is already on his third and last term.
He was followed by another outgoing board member, Alain Gatuslao of the Fifth District, who filed 224 resolutions while his committee, the committee on laws, came out with 211 resolutions.
Sixth District Board Member Helen Zafra, who is also finishing her term this year, came in third in the list with 148 authored resolutions.
Third District Board Member Frederick Ko authored four ordinances, while Fourth District Board Member Victor Javellana authored three ordinances.
Zafra's committee on health produced 120 resolutions while Ko's committee on human resources had 10 ordinances.
In terms of attendance, Zafra has the most number of sessions present with 48 followed by Fourth District Board Member Jose Ma. Alonso with 47 and Sixth District Board Member Pedro Zayco with 46.
Escalante and First District Board Member Rommel Debulgado both attended 45 sessions.
Meanwhile, Vice Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson was present in 41 sessions.
