THE year is off to a great start for versatile Kapuso actor Ken Chan as he becomes the latest artist to join GMA Music’s roster of talents last Jan. 8.
Ken, lauded for his skillful portrayal in the top-rating afternoon series “My Special Tatay,” shared that he feels overwhelmed and thrilled to mark another milestone in his career.
“I’m very happy since it has been my wish for quite some time now to be part of GMA Music. I thank them for their confidence in me. All the artists they produce are great so I’m excited to work with them,” said the artist in Tagalog.
He also expressed his excitement over his first song “Almusal,” a duet with fellow Kapuso singer and on-screen partner Rita Daniela.
“It’s simple, feel-good, relatable music. Don’t we, Filipinos, just love almusal (breakfast)? The track is now playing on Barangay LS 97.1 and RGMA provincial radio stations nationwide. When I first heard it on air, it felt really great. It’s awesome that our Kapuso fans now get to listen to our single as well,” he said.
