Allianz PNB Life launches international health plan

ALLIANZ PNB Life, one of the major life insurers in the Philippines, launched its international health products last Friday, January 11, at Limketkai Luxe Hotel, Cagayan de Oro City.

Their latest products: Allianz Well and Allianz Compass, aim to address the need of the Filipinos to be insured even though they are outside of the country.

"There is an urgent need for us to really reconsider and evaluate our health and how protected we are. That's the reason why we felt that these two international health products will really be beneficial to the Kagay-anons and the rest of Northern Mindanao," Rei Abrazaldo, Allianz PNB Life's brand communications and digital director, said.

In Allianz Well, with an annual plan limit of P100 million, the client will have access to expert medical advice, with round-the-clock, over the phone 24/7 tele consultation and expert medical opinion service.

Other benefits include: access to huge network of doctors, with one of the highest plan limits in the country today, you can choose who, when, and where to get treatment; physical activity programs such as gym memberships, and nutrition service; quick and easy claims process by simply taking a picture of the claims document and getting a reimbursement within approximately seven days; and medical evacuation and repatriation service, wherein the reasonable costs of transportation or travel for a companion will be covered in the event of medical evacuation or repatriation.

Allianz Compass, with an annual plan limit of P200,000, gives the client the privilege to access superior medical treatments and the best hospital facilities available, both here and abroad.

Its benefits include: access to expert medical advice, with round-the-clock, over the phone 24/7 tele consultation and expert medicinal service you; wellness services; health risks check; choosing your preferred doctor or medical facility in the Philippines or abroad; quick and easy claims process; an option to choose alternative treatment; and medical evacuation and repatriation service.

"The modern Filipino has changed from being just an entrepreneur to really going out of the country and be mobile in Asia and the rest of the world. Ang palaging problema: Meron bang maiiwang medical insurance para sa pamilya nya? Siya mismo, kapag nagkaron sya ng medical need abroad, yung bang kanyang HMO (health maintenance organization) na kinuha ay maa-accredit, tatanggapin abroad.
