A LABORER tagged as one of the most wanted persons was arrested in a manhunt operation by the authorities in Zamboanga Sibugay province, a top police official said Saturday, January 12.
Chief Superintendent Emmanuel Lius Licup, Police Regional Office-Zamboanga Peninsula director, identified the arrested suspect as Herman Brade alias Mando, who is tagged as the Top 6 most wanted person in Imelda, Zamboanga Sibugay.
Licup said Brade was arrested around 5:30 a.m. Monday at Purok Luzon in Santa Barbara village, Imelda town.
He said Brade has standing warrant of arrest for the crime of frustrated homicide with recommended bail of P24,000 issued by the court in Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay.
