ANGELES City Mayor Edgardo Pamintuan on Monday, January 14, reiterated his support to the local police here, stressing his administration’s achievement to place Angeles City as among the most peaceful in the country.
"I am on my last five months of office as mayor of our beloved city and it has always been this administration’s achievement to place our city as among the most peaceful in the country. My abounding support goes to Director Mangune for I am confident that his leadership will continue serve us a more peaceful and orderly Angeles City," Pamintuan said during the courtesy call of Senior Superintendent Narvin Mangune, new Angeles City Police Office (ACPO) chief.
Just recently, Pamintuan, along with Vice-Mayor Bryan Matthew Nepomuceno and Philippine National Police Chief Oscar Albayalde led the distribution of nine brand new patrol vehicles and motorcycles to all the police stations in the city.
The mayor also took Mangune on an exclusive walk through inside the state-of-the-art Angeles City Agyu Tamu Emergency and Command Center (ACATEDCC) was also initiated by the city mayor to show how the facility works and operates to secure the city on a 24/7 basis.
Prior to his designation as ACPO director, Mangune served as the chief of the Regional Personnel and Human Resources Development Division of Police Regional Office in Central Luzon.
He replaced Senior Superintendent Enrico Vargas who was recently promoted as the acting chief district director of the Quezon City Police District. (PR)
