The Batch 1959 graduates of Abellana National Vocational School (ANVS) in Cebu City will hold their reunion on Jan. 22.
The gathering will be held at the San Miguel Corp. penthouse, Mandaue City. Registration will start at 5 p.m. on the same day.
The ‘59ers batch will be celebrating the 60th anniversary (emerald) of their graduation from ANVS, now Abellana National School.
All members are enjoined to attend to renew acquaintances and for camaraderie, according to multi-awarded literary writer and ‘59er Lamberto Ceballos.
Reunion coordinator Rafael Rallos said retired general Leo Alves and lawyer Baldomero ‘Merong’ Estenzo will host the affair.
Estenzo served as the president of the ANVS Supreme Student Council in 1959 and mentor of June Mar Fajardo, who plays for the San Miguel Beermen in the Philippine Basketball Association.
