Double effort vs drugs, cops told

SENIOR Superintendent Romeo Baleros, officer-in-charge of Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (Nocppo), directed his men to double their effort in the fight against illegal drugs in the province.

Baleros, during his New Year’s Call to Governor Alfredo Marañon Jr. at the Provincial Capitol in Bacolod City Thursday, January 17, said he is hoping to surpass the accomplishment on illegal drugs in 2018.

“If we cannot totally stop, at least we can minimize it,” he said.
