Banaybanay’s third most wanted nabbed

A MAN with standing warrant of arrest and ranked third in the Top 10 most wanted person in Banaybanay, Davao Oriental was arrested in line with the intensified Manhunt Charlie of the police.

Based on the initial investigation, around 9:05 a.m. on January 17, personnel of Banaybanay Municipal Police Station together with personnel of Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) Davao Oriental, and personnel of Provincial Intelligence Branch of Davao Oriental Police Provincial Office (PIB DOPPO) launched the operation.

They proceeded to Purok 6A, Barangay Poblacion, Banaybanay, Davao Oriental to serve the warrant of arrest against a certain Jison Ardon Amar alias “JJ”, 35, male, single.

Amar was arrested through an order of arrest issued by Judge Emilio G. Dayanghirang III, presiding judge of Regional Trial Court Branch 32. Amar is accused of murder. No bail was recommended.

Police Chief Superintendent Marcelo C Morales, Police Regional Office Davao regional director, said the arrest of wanted persons is in line with LOI Manhunt Charlie wherein police officers implement warrants of arrest against people facing

criminal cases.

“The arrest of these criminals was hastened with the collaboration of the police in the community. Justice can finally be served to the victims,” he said.

Amar is currently under the custody of Banaybanay MPS for proper disposition and court turnover.
