Malacañang mimando sa lawon nga imbestigasyon sa pagpatay ni Castro

GIMANDOAN sa Malacañang ang Philippine National Police nga mohimo og lawom nga pakisusi sa kamatayon ni kanhi Cebu City assistant prosecutor Mary Ann Castro, 49.

“We are outraged by the brutal and brazen ambush of former Cebu City assistant prosecutor Mary Ann Castro,” sumala ni Presidential spokesperson Salvador Panelo sa usa ka statement.

Matod niya, gitahasan usab nila ang Department of Justice nga motabang sa imbestigasyon.

“The Department of Justice, through the National Bureau of Investigation, has been directed to immediately look into this dastardly crime, identify the perpetrators and bring them to the bar of justice,” sigon ni Panelo.

“The Philippine National Police has likewise been directed to check into possible lapses, if any, considering the incident happened during an election gun ban,” dugang niini.

Gipasalig ni Panelo sa pamilya ni Castro nga makab-ot niini ang hustisya sa pagkamatay sa piskal.

Si Castro ang gibanhigan patay sa wa mailhing mga mamumuno niadtong Biyernes sa gabii, Enero 18 samtang luwan sa iyang sakyanan sa dan Escario, Barangay Kamputhaw, siyudad sa Sugbo.

Ang lawas ni Castro gidala na sa ilang dapit sa lungsod sa Clarin, Misamis Occidental niadtong Biyernes, Enero 18. (SCG, SunStar Philippines)
