Cherry Al-ag, owner of Elysia Wellness Spa, said in the first quarter of this year they will be rolling out new services to add to what they are offering now.
"This quarter, we are introducing five new services based on the feedback of our clients and the growing demand for these services," she said.
These new services are the pre-natal massage, geriatric massage, pediatric massage, massage for women with cellulite, and sports massage. These new services are designed to cater to the different physical needs of individuals coming from different backgrounds and ages.
Al-ag said pregnant women undergo a lot of stress ranging from physical to emotional. The pre-natal massage aims to reduce these stresses from women. The massage is designed to reduce swellings in different parts of the body of pregnant women and at the same time lower their stress levels.
The spa is having its fair share of elderly clients. Since their bodies are different from the younger clients, Al-ag said they have created the geriatric massage for them that will improve their blood circulation. This service will also help relieve pain from the elderly and allow better movement.
Elysia Wellness Spa also has the pediatric massage for the babies. Al-ag said this service will allow the babies to relax and have a better sleep. This form of massage is also a non-invasive alternative treatment for babies.
They also have a massage that will help reduce cellulite among matured women. This will be done in sessions and will focus on areas where cellulites tend to gather like the under arm or upper leg.
Lastly, with the number of sports-related events in the city in the coming months, the spa will be rolling out its sports massage service for the athletes. Al-ag said the massage is designed to give special attention to areas of the body that were fatigued due to sports.
Al-ag said the sports massage will also help condition the body and reduce the recovery time of the muscles.
