THE Bacolod City Public Library, in partnership with LSJ Korean Language and Review Center, produced seven graduates of a free Korean Language Training course.

Its rites was held at the city public library on January 18.

The 10-day course, with a total of 30 hours, focused on the comprehensive Korean language like speaking, listening, reading and writing.

They received a certificate of training in completing the elementary-level Korean language course, consisting of five lessons with four units.

In that module, they learned the Korean alphabet or Korean writing system called Hangeul. They completed the lessons which they were able to understand the principles of how each letter was invented and at the same time, it built strong basics and became more confident in using the Korean language.

Speakers and instructors are highly specialized in their specific field, which students can expect a quality kind of learning in preparation for the coming Korean Language Test in the next few months.

They had the opportunity to interact with native Koreans. Engaging experiences expand their understanding of Korean history and society.

The third batch of the training course will be scheduled next month and registration is still going on at the City Public Library.
