Medical waste did not scare off investors

THE presence of medical waste in the waters of Lapu-Lapu City did not scare investors of a luxury resort residences located in Mactan.

Ray Go Manigsaca, AppleOne Properties president, said that 90 percent of their condominium units in The Residences at Sheraton Cebu Mactan Resort are already leased out.

"There's no problem here because we are located in the one of the cleanest areas in Mactan," he said.

They held a topping off ceremony in The Residences, which will be turned over to the buyers in the year 2020.

There are 186 units with a tower and two courtyards.

The Sheraton Cebu Mactan Resort sits on a five-hectare property in Punta Engaño, Mactan Island overlooking both the Hilutungan Channel and Magellan Bay.
