Lawmaker inaugurates P103.9-M projects

FIRST District Representative Celso Lobregat recently spearheaded the inauguration of five flood control projects worth P103.9 million, forming part of his dedicated public service to the people through the delivery of infrastructure projects.

The beneficiaries and the corresponding worth of the project are the following: Sta. Maria, P26.3 million; Sinunuc, two projects valued at P31.3 million; and Labuan, two projects worth P46.3 million.

The flood control projects inaugurated in two sites in Sta. Maria has a length of 349.2 linear meters and seven meters in height.

In Sinunuc, the first projects consisted of 822 linear meters with three meters height and the second, 570.37 linear meters also three meters height.

The flood control projects in Labuan comprised of 982 linear meters with six meters height and the other with 859.66 linear meters with three meters height.

The village councils of Sta. Maria, Sinunuc and Labuan headed by Chairpersons Los Eli Angeles, Pilarica Ledesma and Ronald Maravilla, respectively, have expressed gratitude to Lobregat for initiating the projects.

Officials of the Department of Public Works and Highways District Engineering Office, the implementing agency, city councilors and former city government officials, have joined Lobregat in the inauguration and formal turnover of the completed flood control projects.
