AGRARIAN reform beneficiaries, certification of land ownership award holders, and small sugarcane farm cultivators in Barangay Consing, E.B. Magalona, Negros Occidental recently attended an orientation on the Sugarcane Industry Development Act (Sida) programs by the district office of Congressman Alfredo Benitez.
Sida block farm coordinator Joemel Magno introduced the participants to socialized credit program, training and scholarship grants, and other infrastructure support from the Sugar Regulatory Administration, Department of Agrarian Reform, and other agencies that can be availed by organized groups under the Sida.
Supporting the activity was Punong Barangay Rio Jemilla and members of the barangay council. (PR)
