Young Justice creators drop hints of possible season 4

A POTENTIAL fourth season of the Young Justice could feature another time jump, said showrunners Brandon Vietti and Greg Weisman, teasing DC fans with tidbits of information regarding the future of the DC Universe shows.

“We'd love to keep making more seasons,” said Vietti and Weisman when asked about the possibility of a fourth season. However, DC higher-ups have yet to decide on the matter.

During an “Ask Me Anything” session on Reddit a day before the Young Justice: Outsider's mid-season finale, the co-producers said a time jump, which has become one of the show's signatures after the intervals set among seasons 1, 2, and 3, could also be the highlight for the next.

However, spoilers on Young Justice: Outsiders were not entertained.

They confirmed that 19 of Outsider's 26 episodes were done and the remaining seven episodes are in its post-production.

Fans are stoked about the future of the show at the same time hopeful that news about its cancellation won't happen again, just like in January 2013 when Cartoon Network announced the cancellation of Young Justice and Green Lantern: The Animated Series and that they were to be replaced by Teen Titans Go! and Beware The Batman.

It was later revealed in January 2016 that Young Justice's funding was based on a toy deal with Mattel and when sales were not good, the funding was pulled.

Despite of the challenges, the plot of the show's 3rd season could not have been better, said fans. The introduction of new heroes such as Geo-Force, Halo, Forager, Cyborg, 13, Arrowette, Spoiler, and Orphan brought new light and excitement to the show.
