Sara seeks suggestions to improve Davraa Meet

DAVAO City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio urged delegates of the Davao Region Athletic Association (Davraa) Meet 2019 to give their comments and suggestions to help improve the city's hosting of the upcoming Palarong Pambansa 2019.

"We need your comments and suggestions. Importante sa amoa ang inyong mga nakita na di maayo og makita na maayo para ma-improve ang pag-host sa atong Palarong Pambansa (Whatever you see that's good or bad are important to us so we could improve it for our Palarong Pambansa hosting)," the mayor said in her welcome message during the opening ceremonies of the Davraa Meet 2019 at the Davao City-UP Sports Complex in Bago Oshiro, Tugbok District late Sunday afternoon, January 27.

She also expressed her gratitude that Davao City got to host the Davraa Meet for the second.

She said, "I'm very happy to see everyone here. As requested last year, nihangyo ko sa inyohang tanan kung pwede diri gihapon ta mag-celebrate sa atoang Davraa 2019 (I requested you all if we could celebrate the Davraa 2019 here again)."

She also shared her excitement on the Palaro hosting as delegations from all over the country are coming.

"Enjoy what Davao hospitality has to offer as we make sure Davraa 2019 successful," Duterte-Carpio added.

The Palaro is slated April 27 to May 4.
