CEBU’S bowlers will start their bid for the title of the Alberto’s Pizza 11th Anniversary Bowling Invitational Tournament at the SM City Cebu Bowling Center on Wednesday, Jan. 30.
The tournament organized by the Cebu Tenpin Bowling Association (Cetba) will be played on Wednesdays and Fridays. Every team will have five players with the top four scorers to count.
The organizers said that the main objective of the tournament is to establish camaraderie and friendship among bowlers in Cebu. The tournament is open to all players regardless of affiliation.
The team champion will win P20,000 cash prize, P15,000 for second place and P10,000 for third place. The highest team single score per day and the highest male and female individual single score per day will also receive awards.
Last year, the SPTJJ Savers bagged the crown with a total score of 10,082, while the Cebu Institute of Technology-University and Electormearg finished at second and third place, respectively. (RSC)
