FILIPINO-LEBANESE Abi Kassem becomes Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) Otso adult batch's first evictee after losing the public vote against fellow housemates Wakim Regalado and Apey and Mark Obera.

Among the three nominees, Abi got the least percentage of votes garnering only 22.59 percent of the public votes.

Meanwhile, Wakim received 38.76 percent while the two-in-one housemate Apey and Mark got 38.65 percent of the votes, which saved them from eviction.

After the revelation of the results, Abi could not hold back her tears. In the confession room, she told Kuya she will miss the house.

The said eviction happened after Wakim and Andre Brouillette gave Abi two points during the nomination period for being “lazy and hard-headed.”

Moreover, Abi’s confession of her true feelings to Andre on January 22 episode did not help convince the people to save her from eviction.

Netizens buzzed on social media when the said confession went viral, generating flak and negative comments on the PBB housemate.

Despite Abi's declaration of her feelings, Andre did not hesitate to reject her and told her that she has a boyfriend waiting for her on the outside world.

In an online interview of the show's Facebook page, Abi admits that she regrets what she has done after becoming close to Andre.

On the other hand, Kuya chose Star Dreamer Tori Garcia to fill in for the open slot left by Abi. (Von Daniel R. Plasencia, USC Intern)
