THE Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Davao regional office (PDEA 11) arrested three drug suspects and dismantled the drug den that the suspects were allegedly maintaining during an entrapment operation on Sunday evening, February 3.

Noli Nemphi Dimaandal, information officer of PDEA 11, said agents of PDEA 11 together with PDEA Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (Armm), conducted a drug bust at 8:45 p.m. on February 3 on St. Uriel Street, Coca Cola Village in Matina, Davao City.

He identified the suspects as Felimon Panilagao Jr. alias Benjo, 39, married; Joel Felimon Panilagao alias Weng-Weng, 49, married, business man; and Noel Felimon Panilagao alias Bibo, 52, married.

Dimaandal said the suspects were arrested for maintaining a suspected drug den and for selling one plastic sachet of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride or “shabu” worth P14,000 to an undercover PDEA agent.

Upon further inspection, another big sachet and three small sachets of suspected shabu weighing more or less 10 grams with a street value of P150,000, assorted drug paraphernalia, and buy-bust marked money were recovered during the operation.

Felimon Panaligao Jr. is Number 8 and his brother Joel Felimon Panaligao is Number 14 on the PDEA 11’s list of drug personalities operating in Davao region.

The suspects are now detained at the PDEA detention facility while the seized suspected illegal drugs were submitted to laboratory service examination.

Cases of violation of Republic Act 9165, otherwise known as The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, are being prepared against them.
