Drug surrenderer, 2 others nabbed for drugs

THREE persons, including a drug surrenderer and a member of a gun-for-hire group were arrested in separate buy-bust operations in Negros Occidental on Sunday, February 3.

In Talisay City, Marlon Elupitan, 40, of Barangay Bubog, an alleged member of a gun-for-hire group, was collared in the said village after police seized from him 27 sachets of suspected shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride), the P500 marked money, .45 caliber pistol, and P1,100 in cash. He is a street-level target and newly-identified drug personality.

In San Enrique town, Alfonso Tolones Jr., 38, of Barangay Tabao Rizal was arrested which resulted to the recovery of six sachets of suspected shabu worth P5,000, the P500 marked money, gambling paraphernalia, and P300 in cash. He is a drug surrenderer.

In Bacolod City, Richard Montoya, 45, of Barangay 19, was arrested after he allegedly yielded four sachets of suspected shabu worth P56,400, coin purse, and the P500 marked money.

He is detained at Police Station 4. (GYM)
