PRO-Central Luzon celebrates 28th PNP foundation day

THE Police Regional Office (PRO)-Central Luzon celebrated the Philippine National Police’s 28th founding anniversary which coincided with the Monday flag raising rite followed by a wreath-laying ceremony at the PRO-3 heroes’ monument.

The blessing of the newly-renovated PRO-Central Luzon Post Gymnasium was also held where Supreme Court Deputy Court Administrator Hon Raul Villanueva was the guest of honor and speaker.

Villanueva was welcomed with a company-sized arrival honor.

During his brief speech, Villanueva expressed his utmost gratitude to the entire Central Luzon police for making the region peaceful and orderly.

He also assured the police that his office is open and willing to extend additional assistance to the police organization in the region.

The simple program was highlighted by the giving of recognition to deserving PNP personnel who have contributed vastly to the upliftment of PRO-Central Luzon in particular.

The PNP since its establishment in 1991 has come a long way as a prime member of the Department of Interior and Local Government and has been leading in maintaining peace and order in the community.

It has also been a partner in good governance as it ventures in transforming the organization into professionalized cops. (Ric Sapnu)
