THE organizers of the SM2SM Run call out the runners to be aware of the new starting time for the race on Feb. 17 at the SM City Cebu North Open Area in the North Reclamation Area, Cebu City.
The gun start for the 21-kilometer category was moved one hour earlier from 4 a.m. to 3 a.m.
The three other categories will also start early; the 12K race fires off at 3:30 a.m. followed by the 8K category at 3:45 a.m. and the 4K race at 4 a.m.
“As per Cebu City Transportation Office (CCTO) new directive, the SM2SM Run has adjusted the gun start time for the race on Feb. 17, 2019. I’m calling the runners to please be guided with the new race schedule,” said race director Joel Baring of Sports and Fitness Enthusiasts (Safe).
Baring said that with the new start time, the race is expected to finish much earlier. Awarding ceremony will be at 7 a.m.
“We work on to inform the registered runners through text, social media and on radio this morning (Tuesday),” said Baring in Cebuano (RSC)
