FOUR minor boys were rescued by the San Pedro police after they were cornered by the authorities at a boutique they ransacked in Quirino Avenue, Brgy 3-A, Davao City Wednesday dawn.

In a Facebook post by Kenneth Howell Tuazon Nazareno, the video showed one of the four boys hanging from the ceiling of the Love Style store like a spider as he attempted to escape from the police authorities. But the boy was not able to escape as several people and the police have already rounded them up.

Based on the information from the Women and Children's Protection Desk (WCPD) of San Pedro PNP, the four minors barged into the store.

When they have entered the store, they also tried to make a hole on a wall to enter the other four stores.

A security guard who noticed them immediately asked police for assistance.

The four did not go back to where they have entered since they also noticed that the guard was already there. So they climbed the ceiling as if they were “spidermen” – just like in the movie “Spiderman.”

The minor boys were identified by their aliases as Reneboy, 10; Boboy, 13; Jerry, 15, all residents of Barangay Tibungco and a certain alias Jay-Ar, 13, from Matina Crossing.

During the investigation, the four boys admitted that they ransacked the house so that they can buy games cards which will be used in online gaming.

The police are calling on their parents for them to undergo a WCPD seminar relating to neglect of their children.
