ALL of us blessed. Each of us has been given gifts, skills and talents. How do we use these blessings? Do we use to abuse it or do we share our blessings?

Paying it forward is passing on the grace and kindness that has been given to you. It could be when a friend helped you when you were in great need and instead of paying him back, you help another person.

There are many ways to show kindness:

L – leave a compliment to a sibling

O – open the door for an older person

V – visit an orphanage/shelter

E – encourage someone

M – make someone happy (e.g. baking a cake)

O – offer your services for free

N – nurture a pet

T – treat a friend

H – hug your mother or father

There are many more ways to show kindness especially this love month.

One way is to bring joy and give hope to disadvantaged children, like those who are sheltered in Kalipay Negrense Foundation, Girls Home, Boys Home, Home of Hope, Sto Nino, Missionaries of Charity and many more. Support their causes.

The Bible in Acts 20:35 states that “In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: “It is more blessed to give than to receive,” which teaches that there is joy in the act of giving when it is done with pure motives.
