SEVEN persons were arrested for sale and illegal possession of dangerous drugs in separate drug operations in Negros Occidental from Wednesday to Thursday, February 6 to 7.
In Silay City, target subject Emmanuel Gonzaga, 30, of Barangay Mambulac; Delvie Rodriguez, 41, who’s in the target list; and Marvin Uychiat, 32, a newly-identified drug personality, both residents of Barangay Guinhalaran were arrested in the said village on Thursday.
Police recovered from them eight sachets of suspected shabu worth P135,000, drug paraphernalia, P9,040 in cash, and P4,500, including the P500 marked money.
In Victorias City, Gerry Magallanes, 40, newly-identified drug personality; and James Dimson, 28, both residents of Barangay 6, a level one high-value target drug personality were collared in the said barangay on Wednesday.
Police seized from the two suspects six sachets of suspected shabu worth P5,000, an improvised tooter, the P400 marked money, two lighters, and P370 in cash.
In Candoni town, Jovanie Tamesis, 40, of Barangay Talacdan was arrested in Barangay Caningay on the same day which resulted to the confiscation of a sachet of suspected shabu, the P300 marked money, P8,998 in cash, pouch, and several Identification cards.
In Sagay City, drug surrenderer Michael Luntao, a high value target was arrested in Barangay Bato on Thursday after police confiscated from him six sachets of suspected shabu worth P5,000, and the P500 marked money. (GYM)
