WHAT if a car wash could be done in under eight minutes? It seemed like such a far-fetched concept—at least until Speedy1 Carwash brought an innovative and revolutionary car wash experience to Cebu.
The lack of a better alternative to traditional manual car washing pushed managing director Celso Advincula Jr. to take matters into his own hands. In a world where time is a luxury, he wanted to start “a car wash shop that will eliminate one to two hours of waiting time for a car wash to be done yet still be able to deliver efficient service and a clean car.”
At the time, the automated touchless carwash technology was not yet available locally. After finding the right supplier in China —one that could deliver both efficient service and appropriate pricing—Speedy1 Carwash was started in 2017. Today, Speedy1, which won Best Car Wash in SunStar Best of Cebu 2018, is the exclusive distributor of these revolutionary machines in the country and is open to franchising.
More than just being the only car wash in Cebu that uses an automated, soft touch water-jet carwash technology, Speedy1 employs well-trained and courteous attendants to make sure every visit is a pleasant one.
With the Smart 360 Technology used by Speedy1, customers save time by getting a quick yet thorough wash while keeping revenue of business owners stable. This state-of-the-art technology “thinks for itself,” which means the wash process is seamless, resulting in less waiting time for customers. It has many different functions: high-pressure pre-wash for the under body, chassis and wheels to effectively remove dirt; a pre-soak in various chemicals; polish shampoo with thick foam for non-corrosive decontamination; spray of a soft water and crystal wax mixture to give the car a protective film over the car paint; and a unique embedded air-drying system. In seven minutes, Speedy1’s signature carwash does a thorough job in cleaning one’s car.
Aside from the basic exterior washing, Speedy1 also offers packages that include under body wash, liquid wax, interior vacuum cleaning and tire black.
As of now, Speedy1 has one branch in operation located on J. Solon St., Lahug (beside Paref Springdale). However, plans of expansion are already underway: a branch in Davao is set to open in February, while Banawa, Talisay and Lapu-Lapu are in the pipeline.
