Philippine Christian Gospel School grows bigger in Cebu City

THE Philippine Christian Gospel School (PCGS) has continued in its steadfast commitment to academic excellence and staunch biblical Christian values and principles.

PCGS was founded in Cebu City in 1948, three years after the end of World War II.

The Christian Filipino-Chinese school’s mission is to equip young learners with the knowledge and skills they need to live and contribute to society while reflecting the character of Jesus Christ.

PCGS has grown from small wooden structures to a sprawling campus in the heart of Cebu City.

Strategically located in the university belt of the city’s downtown area, the school is now equipped with a gymnasium, two canteens, a student services office, multipurpose rooms, computer rooms, three libraries, science laboratories and technology and livelihood education room.

The campus also has pre-elementary, elementary and high school buildings.

On Thursday, Feb. 7, PCGS celebrated the opening of its new building—the Uytengsu Integrated Learning Center, which houses the senior high school program, indoor pre-elementary playground, an e-learning space, multipurpose room and a fellowship hall.

A school with an estimated 800 students from pre-elementary to senior high school, PCGS molds young lives into successful and godly young men and women, who fear and trust Jesus Christ. (S)
