HAPPINESS in life is the most inspiring commodity on earth. It may be free, at a low price or could be expensive. But happiness or wealth is not always about money. There are people who are rich in money. But they are still unhappy. Why? Because they have another kind of poverty. They are poor in mind, body and attitude. They don’t know how to handle their financial wealth because they are poor in character trait. All these things should be balanced and complementary with each other in order to achieve true happiness.
Someday in the future, I will establish a church of healing. I will heal poverty. And poverty has four kinds.
1) Poverty in money. We need money to survive, move around, and to spend for pleasure trips, to be happy.
2) Poverty of mind. We need peace of mind to be happy;
3) Poverty in body. We need to have physical health to be happy; and
4) Poverty in attitude. We need to have good attitude to be happy.
In order to be happy, we should be rich in all of the above. But, of course, above all, we should be under God’s and Jesus’s supervision. We should be under the bracket of True Religion. We have to study God, Jesus and the Bible and remain in touch with reality. We should fall in line.--CHITO E. GERMINO
