Capitol turns over 3 container vans to joint security force

MISAMIS Oriental Governor Yevgeny Emano has turned-over three container office vans useful for the implementation of the joint military and police security checkpoints in the province on Monday, February 11.

The container office vans will be positioned at the security checkpoints in El Salvador City and Agusan highway in Cagayan de Oro City to give government security personnel manning the checkpoints the comfort while securing the province and the city against threat groups.

The other container van will be placed at the Capitol grounds and is ready to be used as command center for rescue and retrieval operations for any emergency situation or calamities that may hit anywhere in the province.

“Tulo ka container van atong gitunol sa El Salvador City isa sa Agusan ug usa i-standby sa Provincial Capitol nga maoy command center kun dunay calamity ehemplo sa Tagoloan, para dili ta makadisturbo sa LGU, atong ibutang asa ang dunay kalamidad mao na dayon atong command center ug diha na dayon ang tanang kalihukan,” Emano said.

(We turned over three container vans to El Savador City, one in Agusan and the other one is placed at Provincial Capitol which is the command center in case a calamity might strike Tagoloan, so that we won’t disturb the LGU.)

Emano has backed the security measures implemented by the military and the police to ensure lawless elements could not sneak into the province to sow fear and terror, following the recent explosions in some areas in Mindanao.

The said container vans are all air-conditioned and are equipped with communication devices such as radios, television, and base radios.

“Kompleto kini sa kahimanan sa komunikasyon nga mahimong makontak sa tanang istasyon sa kapolisan ug headquarter sa kasundaluhan, panahon sa emerhensiya, kalamidad, ug pagpakggangsa krimen ug mga kriminal,” Emano said.

(It has a complete set of communication equipment to contact the police station and the headquarter of the soldiers. Also it can be used in emergency cases, calamities, and police operations.)

“Magsilbing buhatan kini sa nakatuka nga pulis ug sundalo alang sa ilang 24 oras nga checkpoint sa national highway,” he added.

(These vans will also serve as the headquarter of the police and soldiers who are having a 24 hour checkpoint in the national highway.)

Emano said he will always support the government security forces in fighting terrorism and criminality.
