SUNSHINE Cruz finally found justice as her sexual harasser gets fired.

Sunshine Cruz thanks the administrators of a fine-dining restaurant who has a chef that sent lewd materials to her.

The chef known as Lorence Anthony Guardian, a chef of Epilogue restaurant which is a five-star restaurant located in Pasay City.

He was allegedly sending Cruz lewd messages about her and her daughter through direct messaging on Instagram.

Cruz, then, called his attention yet Guardian denied any allegations towards his behavior, stating that he wasn’t the one sending the messages and he’s account was hacked.

In turn, Cruz blocked him from Instagram and Facebook.

Fortunately, some netizens also commented on Sunshine’s post saying that they, too, experienced harassment from him as well.

Meanwhile, Macky Mathay III – Cruz’s current boyfriend – came to her rescue and contacted the restaurant management. In his post on Wednesday, February 13, he labelled the chef as a “virtual predator” and he has talked to the restaurant’s management about the incident.

“I have talked to Ms. Liz Ubando, manager of Epilogue S Maison Epilogue PH and this VIRTUAL PREDATOR will be fired from his job and will be reported to the authorities so that he cannot victimize other showbiz personalities, private people, and minors!!” he stated in his account.

He also emphasized in all capital letters that women should be respected and never disrespected. In addition, he taunted him that he was doing these kinds of malicious behavior even though Guardian has posts of him and his family in Instagram.

The managers of the restaurant are working with Cruz and will be investigating on the case.

Just this noon, the Epilogue PH messaged Cruz that the situation is now handled and Guardian has been fired.

In their post, they said this: “Hi Sunshine, just want to provide another update. We just finished the meeting between our manager and the agency, and Lorence Guardian admitted that he was the one who sent the message. On our end, we have also formalized all the termination documents and his is completely out of Epilogue. Lorence also promised to make an apology. We, together with our lawyer, are also coordinating with the agency on the next course of action. If there’s anything else that you would want us to do or help with, please let us know.”

Cruz thanked the management for their quick investigation and hopes that this may be a reminder to protect women, especially minors.

In the meantime, Guardian hasn’t posted anything yet to his social media accounts. (Von Daniel R. Plasencia, USC Intern)
