SM City Pampanga, through the SM Cares, distributed some 200 Bears of Joy to learners with special needs and indigenous children of Floridablanca town on Thursday, February 14.

The event was in partnership with Vice Mayor Michael Galang and Municipal Social Welfare and Development (MSWD) office represented by Engracia David while SM volunteers included assistant mall managers Jerwin Jalandoni and Kay Chua and public relations manager Rain Cervantes.

The SM Bears of Joy is a project of SM Cares, a corporate social responsibility program of SM Supermalls, in cooperation with Toy Express of The SM Store. The project allows SM shoppers and its business partners to purchase a pair of plush bears, one of which they keep and the other, they donate for distribution to the less privileged children in the community.

The group distributed toys to students of the Floridablanca East Elementary School inside Basa Air Base as well as in Apalit Elementary School.
