Angel Locsin denies dating band vocalist

KAPAMILYA actress Angel Locsin denied rumors that she is dating Parokya ni Edgar lead vocalist Chito Miranda.

In a television interview with Angel, she said that they are good friends and has the same set of peers.

"Pauulit ulit na akong nag po-post dun (Twitter), e-explain na wala talaga ligawan kasi barkada po kami (I kept posting on (Twitter) explaining that no courtship is taking place because we are really good friends)," she said.

Angel also denied rumors that she did not allow Efren Penaflorida to court her because of Chito.

Efren, in his interview with the King of Talk Boy Abunda in his Saturday night show "The Bottomline," said that he is praying for Angel since he was 23.

He was also very vocal that he wanted to court her. Angel said Efren was able to talk to her father to tell him that he has only good intentions with his daughter.

On her ex-boyfriend Luis Manzano, Angel said he is still very much persistent in showing her that he wants to make things the same.

"Sinasabihan ko naman lagi na wag kang mag-effort, kasi kawawa ka naman, ayaw ko naman na sabihin nya na pinahihirapan ko sya, pero sabi nya gusto ko lang gawin (I kept on telling him not to exert too much effort on things because he might feel that I kept on punishing him. But he told me that he wanted to do so)," she said.

Angel added that she is not dating right now and that Luis is most of the time in their house.

"Hindi ako nagdadate ng iba, nagkikita kami, in fairness naman sa kanya eh bumabawi na ngayon, wala lang expectations, lagi lang sya nasa bahay (I am not dating anyone right now. We see each other and infairness to him, he's really making up for everything, though no expectations at all. He's always in the house)," the actress said.

On Luis side, he said that "I am trying to win her back."

Luis also confirms that he is often paying Angel a visit and the actress kept on telling him to exert no effort on things but he said that he likes what he is doing and there's no reason to stop doing things you want to pursue.

In a separate television interview with Luis mother, Batangas Governor Vilma Santos, she said that the important thing is that the two will remain friends.

"They are friends; I don't usually meddle with my son's lovelife. Ang importante sa akin dito eh they will stay as good friends. Maiwan lang ang respeto nila sa isa't-isa (The important thing for me is, for them to stay as good friends and the respect should always be between them)," Vilma said.

Luis, together with Billy Crawford, is part of the upcoming talent-reality show of ABS-CBN, "Pilipinas Got Talent." They are currently on the lookout for talented Pinoys all over the Philippines.

"Pilipinas Got Talent" will officially start this Saturday, February 20 at 7:30 p.m.

Queen of talk Kris Aquino, The Comedy/Concert Queen Ai Ai Delas Alas and former ABS-CBN President Freddie Garcia compose the jurors.
