LUCKY 13! That’s MV Filipinas Cagayan de Oro, the 13th ship of Cokaliong Shipping Lines, the top-rated shipping lines hereabouts. Blessed and inaugurated on a lovely Saturday afternoon, the ship had an array of VIPs as guests of honor—Sen. Nancy Binay, Ilocos Norte Gov. Imee Marcos, Sec. Michael Dino, Gen. Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa and lawyer Harry Roque. Very much part of the ribbon cutting were the Cokaliong family led by Cokaliong Lines founder chief executive officer/chief operating officer Chester Cokaliong and wife Anna Lyne, the grand matriarch of the clan Madame Gregoria C. and the young family members—Chase, Chesna, Chanel and Charmaine.

Like all Cokaliong ships, MV Filipinas Cagayan de Oro went through extensive renovation to make it superior in every way. Comfortable, safe sailing; spic and span are the bywords of Cokaliong Shipping Lines. CEO/COO Chester Cokaliong would not settle for anything less. He proudly shares that MV Filipinas Cagayan de Oro is classed under Registro Italiano Navale (Rina) in Italy, a member of the International Association of Classification Societies (IACS).

Cheers to Cokaliong Shipping Lines, and Happy Birthday to founder CEO/COO Chester who is celebrating his birthday today!
