NIGERIAN Simeon Uchenna considers Cebu City as his second home and Yaw-Yan Ardigma Cebu as his family.

He want to represent Cebu City and Yaw-Yan Ardigma well with an impressive victory in his upcoming fight in Dapitan City.

“I think of myself as a Cebuano. Yaw-Yan is my family and I treat Master Ekin as my father. I will do everything to represent Cebu well," said Uchenna.

Uchenna is taking on Equilibrium MMA's Ivan Lugatiman in the main event of “MMA Super Fights” on Feb. 23 at the MCM Dapitan City Cultural Center.

Unchenna had a successful debut with a split decision victory over Rodel Valisado.

Another Yaw-Yan Ardigma Cebu warrior, Allan Albindo, is also seeing action in the MMA show.

Albindo trades strikes with D’Power MMA’s Johnrel Dionson.

"We want to sustain his (Albindo) momentum after his win. Allan is fighting a great striker with boxing background but I am confident that he will score another victory," said Yaw-Yan Ardigma Cebu founder and CEO Master Benigno “Ekin” Caniga.

Albindo, 27, is undefeated in five pro-am fights. He’s coming off a second round submission win over Jessie Cabalquinto last Feb. 8 in Sogod, Cebu.
