A FATHER and his son were killed in an afternoon fire in one of Barili's mountain barangays on Thursday, February 21.
The victims of the fire were identified as Vidal Tabor and his son Sandy.
The fire reportedly occurred at their house in Sitio Taktak, Barangay Patupat at around 2 p.m. on Thursday.
Barili town councilor Julieto Flores, who previously served as village chief of Patupat, said Vidal reportedly couldn't escape his burning house as he was allegedly paralyzed.
Police are still conducting further investigation to determine the cause of the fire./ JKV
