Matod ni Titus Borromeo, spokesperson sa Office of the Presidential Assistant for the Visayas (OPAV), nga nangandam sila sa daghang tawo nga motambong sa rally tungod.
Tambungan kini sa mga opisyal nga kandidato sa PDP-Laban ug mga bisita nga kandidato gikan sa lalawigan ug sa tulo ka mga dakbayan dinhi sa Sugbo.
“PDP-Laban is preparing for a crowd of 120,000. But we have contingencies up to 150,000 because it would be attended by the official candidates of PDP-Laban and of course the guest candidates from all over the province of Cebu and including the cities of Cebu, Mandaue and Lapu-Lapu. There are also other sectors nga supporters ni President Duterte will attend, like the Muslim community,” sigon ni Borromeo.
Ang rally pagaapilan sa lima ka mga opisyal nga kandidato sa PDP-laban nga silang Senate President Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel Jr., Maguindanao Representative Zajid Mangudadatu, Secretary Francis Tolentino, Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa ug Bong Go.
Ubanan sila sa ilang campaign manager nga si Senador Manny Pacquiao.
Si Borromeo mipadayag nga para masiguro ang seguridad sa rally daghang mga butang ang di itugot nga dalhon sa katawhan.
“For security purposes, the PSG (Presidential Security Group) requested to ban the following items: no bottled water inside the Plaza Independencia. No ballpens, pencils and backpacks. So, we have to tell the public to avoid bringing these items in going inside the venue and then no drone flying also,” subay ni Borromeo.

“The campaign rally will start at around 2 pm sa Plaza Independencia this Sunday then until mahuman. We’ll be expecting senatorial candidates to deliver their speeches plus the guest candidates of the President,” nagkanayon si Borromeo.

Kapulisan sa siyudad sa Sugbo hugot sa ilang pagpangandam sa pagbisita ni Duterte.
Sugod kagahapon, Pebrero 2,1gisaka na ngadto sa full alert ang status sa kapulisan sa Central Visayas.
