THE PAREF Springdale School, together with the Grade 3 Batch 2018-19 and the student body organization, will be presenting a play entitled “Curtain Call: the Musical.”

Performing live at SM City Cinema 1 on Saturday, Feb. 23, and Sunday, Feb. 24, will be students from different grade levels who are eager to sing, dance and act.

You may catch the show at any of the following schedules—matinee: 3 p.m. and gala: 7 p.m.

Ebbo Dwight C. Devora, the “Sons of Thespis” Theatre Club director, shared that the students themselves, headed by the grade 11 batch, wrote their lines, choreographed their dances and directed the entire play.

“We (the mentors) were but a guide to help the students bring out the best versions of themselves,” Devora said.

The production features an original story with performances of songs adapted from famous musicals.

Written by Luis Miguel Moro IV and Rashed Andrei Zafra, “Curtain Call: The Musical” is a story about two boys of Skeptics University overcoming the greatest challenge every person goes through in life—being a teenager. Their paths cross as they venture on a quest to find their true callings.

The musical is open to all ages. Its entire production and cast invite the public to watch, cry and laugh as they answer the curtain’s call.
