STAR Magic batchmates Lauren Young and Empress Schuck reunited after 10 years.
Young and Schuck, who are currently working in GMA 7, were casted on the daytime drama series, Hiram na Anak, starring Yasmin Kurdi.
Last November 2018, a fan club of Enchong Dee unearthed a photo captured on the days that Young and Schuck worked together. The photo was of the 2008 series called Astigs.
In the photo were Jessy Mendiola, Martin del Rosario, Zia Marquez, the late AJ Perez, Chris Gutierrez, Angelo Patrimonio, Dino Imperial, Alfonso Martinez, Lauren Young herself, Megan Young, Enchong Dee, Empress Schuck herself, and Victor Basa, Valeen Montenegro, Max Collins, and director Erik Salud.
They have been working and starred in several television shows together for several years. Their first project was the series Abt Ur Luv that aired from 2006-2008 about the problems of the youth. In this, they were casted together with Shaina Magdayao, Enchong Dee, Rayver Cruz, and the late AJ Perez.
Later on, this was replaced with Astigs which ran from January to May 2008. In this series, the cast of Abt Ur Luv was casted with the exception of Cruz and Magdayao. Yet they were added with a couple of known artists today such as Jessy Mendiola, Megan Young, Valeen Montenegro, Martin del Rosario, and others.
Aside from those, they have also worked in Your Song presents Imposible (2008) and Your Song presents Underage (2009).
At present, Schuck is a freelance actress and can have projects for both ABS-CBN and GMA 7 networks.
In addition, Martin del Rosario stated in an interview last 2017 that he, Young, and Schuck will be doing a project together yet no further details have been reported. (Von Daniel R. Plasencia, USC intern)
