#SHORTS: Ormoc sea mishap kills 45; 'Egay' moves closer to north Luzon; more areas under signal no. 1; Magnitude 6.1 quake rattles Surigao Norte, Caraga

SEA MISHAP. Ten more bodies were recovered from a ferry that capsized on Thursday in choppy waters in the central Philippines, bringing the final death toll in the accident to 45.

WEATHER ADVISORY. Placed under Public Storm Warning Signal Number 1 are the provinces of Northern Aurora, Quirino, Isabela, Cagayan including Calayan and Babuyan group of Islands in Luzon.

EARTHQUAKE. A magnitude 6.1 earthquake jolted Surigao del Norte and neighboring provinces on Friday afternoon, Phivolcs said.
