Panlilio brands Pineda ‘plastic’

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- Governor Eddie Panlilio on Wednesday morning branded former senior Board member Lilia Pineda as “plastic” and “pretentious” following the latter’s statements that she was in no rush to occupy the helm of the Capitol.

“Siya ay plastic. Sa Kapampangan, ‘aske’,” said Panlilio.

Panlilio led the Kapampangan Kontra Recount movement in another protest, where hundreds of black-clad supporters, many of them students from nearby schools, pelted with tomatoes the tarpaulin posters of Pineda, President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo and Comelec Second Division presiding commissioner Nicodemo Ferrer.

Meanwhile, Pineda’s spokesperson, Rosve Henson said that they will not be provoked by Panlilio’s actions.

“Hindi namin tatapatan ang mga rally nila na iyan. What they are doing is creating a bad image for Pampanga just like what happened in Bulacan,” he said.

Henson said that the Pineda camp will wait and follow the processes of law.
