SM pyro fest to dazzle Pampanga skyline tonight

CLARK FREEPORT -- The much awaited Philippine International Pyromusical Competition (PIPC) is set to dazzle spectators tonight as it opens with presentations from the Philippines and Belgium.

The Philippines’ very own Platinum Fireworks Inc. will take the sky to open the festivity together with an amazing drone exhibition show that will surely surprise everyone. As the first contender, CBF Pyrotechnics from Belgium will present their pyrotechnic delights.

The PIPC is a tradition at the SM Mall of Asia that has brought endless enjoyment to millions of Filipinos each year. For the past nine years, the pyrotechnics have always complied with the international standards for environmental safety, at par with countries like Canada, Australia, Hongkong and famous theme parks around the world.

In full support of the ongoing Manila Bay Rehabilitation Program of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources, SM Supermalls will move the 10th PIPC from SM Mall of Asia to SM City Clark in Angeles City, Pampanga starting February 23 to March 30, 2019.

The Philippine International Pyromusical Competition’s annual program has 10 competing countries who take on a battle of breathtaking fireworks performances amid symphony of sounds.

Tonight’s event is set to start at 8 p.m. Spectators are advised to come early to avail of parking slots and avoid traffic as the event draws hundreds of spectators each year from Metro Angeles area and neighboring provinces and towns.
