AROUND 130 toddlers have signed up for the 2nd Rosevale Inter-School Grade Level Chess Championship Friday, February 23 at SM CdO Downtown Premier in Cagayan de Oro.
Tournament organizer Silverio Abasolo said all categories in elementary (Grades 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6) and high school (Grade 7-8 and Grade 9-10) will be featured in the day-long tourney as well as the senior high school for mixed boys and girls.
“We expect more entries to beat the deadline before the tournament starts tomorrow morning (today),” Abasolo told SunStar Cagayan de Oro.
Registration fee is pegged at P150 to be received by Rosevale School cashier Marycar Aquiatan.
