Tips for future college students

COLLEGE is the main starting point of the adulting chapter. It is where students like you, millennial, will be trained to become your own aspiration through the academics and hardships you’ll encounter. But once you throw your graduation caps up after you spent years schooling, your heart will feel like flying as you play flashbacks in your mind which were full of tears and sweat.

To be put into point, every future college student has been clueless to their future - because of this cluelessness plaguing their heads, they are very anxious to begin their lives as college students. More so in fact, thoughts such as meeting and introducing themselves to strangers, forming friendships, adjusting to the new environment, getting their professor’s good side, and of course, maintaining good grades in their classes are always passing by within their consciousness. These thoughts shouldn’t be attended to for too much, because students just have to let everything flow while spending time wandering around their campus vicinity, and here are few tips for you:

1. Don’t worry too much.

Don’t let worry succumb you - even if you are overthinking about what lies ahead of your future. To remind you, everything will pass. Just look and focus at the present time. You may plan your future - but you have to take it slow and take one step at a time while working on it.

2. Start to fill up your savings.

Your savings are literally your saviors in the future. You have to start saving early so that you won’t regret it afterwards. The future you will thank you for doing them a favor, since you at the present time is filling some pesos up in your trusted banks or piggybanks. You’ll never know when you need to break the bank, but once you need to do so, you have savings give you a pat on the shoulder.

3. Choose your friends.

Never in the record of being a college student has he or she graduated without any friends. These people are essential in your college lives, for they help you with your social and mental stability. Having them could keep you happy and contented, for they crack the best jokes while you eat your student meals with them. Finding your true friends is one of the best side quests during your college life - because once you find them, they are truly a bunch of gems.

4. Learn to your heart’s content.

Getting that amount of knowledge will result for you to make your parent or guardian’s sacrifice and your performance in school worth it. Everything you’ve learned will eventually be applied to your endeavors in your future job.

5. Find the best hotspot for you.

It’s really frustrating whenever you look around for places to stay to, regardless if it is the library, the canteen, the back of your department’s building, or even at a mall. The most comfortable, least to spent money on, and the coziest spot would always win your heart. It could be a home for you whenever you have long hours of breaks. Some people even find the craziest spots to stay on, and it works because it’s their comfort zone. Top of FormBottom of Form
