ABOUT 500 residents of Isabela town in Negros Occidental benefitted from the third medical mission organized by the municipal government.

The medical mission was held at the town’s covered court on Sunday, February 24.

Mayor Joselito Malabor said indigents and job order casual employees of the government were treated to a free medical consultation, dental check-up, and circumcision for children.

Malabor said he is hoping that through the medical mission, they are able to help the residents of the town who are not capable of supporting their medical needs.

“We will hold the medical mission every month to provide health assistance to our constituents,” he added.

Malabor said he is happy that the activity was successful through the assistance of the provincial government led by Governor Alfredo Marañon Jr. and Fifth District Board Member Renato Malabor Jr.

He also thanked Task Force Kasanag national commander John Chiong, the Philippine Army, and May Pag-asa party-list candidate Cezar Mancao, a retired police senior superintendent, for their contribution to the said activity.

The schedule of the next medical mission will be on March 17 where they target to have 1,000 beneficiaries. It will be followed by another activity on April 9. (GYM)
