3 men nabbed for illegal drugs

CAMP OLIVAS -- Three suspected drug personalities were arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by the local police in Barangay Santa Lucia, City of San Fernando recently.

Superintendent Levi Hope Basilio, chief of police of City of San Fernando, identified the suspects as Rolly Salonga, 43; Minerva Salonga, 40, both residents of Barangay Santo Nino; and Rodolfo Lingat, 37, a resident of Barangay Del Pilar.

Basilio said the City Police's Drug Enforcement Unit conducted the anti-illegal drug operation at said barangay where the suspects sold illegal drugs to police agents.

He said after one of the trio handed over sachets of shabu to police operatives before they were arrested.

Confiscated from them were 18 pieces of small plastic sachets of shabu, a leather bag, and the P500 marked money.

Basilio said the suspects are categorized as target list drug personality of the City of San Fernando Police.

The suspects are now detained. They will face charges against possession of illegal drugs in court.
