Scholarships for Munting Mutya ng Davao 2019

THE search for the next Munting Mutya ng Davao is on with some P150,000 worth of prizes and scholarship grants await for the winners.

The Gaisano Malls together with the event organizer Stunning Events & Weddings TEAM Co. – Davao presented the 15 charming and lovely finalists of this year’s Munting Mutya ng Davao last February 28, 2019 at the Gaisano Malls Recruitment Office at Vinzon Street, Bo. Obrero, Davao City.

For its 15th year, the pageant - considered as the biggest kid pageant in Southern Mindanao and longest running kid pageant in Davao City – offers three scholarship grants for its three winners: Munting Mutya 2019; Munting Diwa 2019 (1st Runner-up); and Munting Sinag 2019 (2nd Runner-up).

“Unlike previous years, only the grand winner will be given with a scholarship grant as prize but this year we partnered with three schools,” Regine Mae Arellano, Gaisano Malls’ marketing admin assistant, said.

The three scholarship sponsors are Philippine College of Technology Inc.; Brokenshire College of Davao; and AMA Computer Learning Center.

She added that the pageant’s ultimate goal is to mold and boost little Dabawenyas’ talents and confidence at an early age. All the cute Munting Mutya aspirants are from ages 6 to 10 years old.

Meanwhile, Christopher Ledesma of Stunning Events & Weddings TEAM Co. – Davao invited all Dabawenyos to witness the showcase of Davao’s young talents and minds on March 10 at GMall Toril for the talent presentation and pre-pageant and on March 17, around 1:00 p.m. onwards, for the grand coronation day at the Atrium of Gaisano Mall of Davao.

Here is the list of the 15 Munting Mutya ng Davao 2019 finalists: Heart Esprila; Pinky Cedol; Noelle Ayesha Dausan; Chazzyvle Rhyza Gayoba; Julicita Caroline Powers; Alexa Jewel Angcon; Brianna Codino Patke; Jusmine Petras; Princess Frara Barrameda; Marian Gel Pesiao; Bien Margaret Jamisola; Bianca Victoria Jamisola; Whitney Pajarillaga; Caryn Angel Torregoza; and Zahra Abby Salehi.
