THE 82nd Araw ng Davao made history with the first ever “Ginoong Davao”

Fifteen good-looking young men competed for the title, each having their own talents and advocacies that they would want to fight for the welfare of their fellow Dabawenyos.

But only one stood out among the rest. Kyle Emmanuel Gaite was already noticed initially by his talent as he was awarded the most talented “Ginoong Davao.”

His winning answer to the question of guest host and judge Boy Abunda which was, “As ‘Ginoong Davao’ 2019, what can you contribute to make Davao and the Philippines a better place?” undoubtedly made him deserving of the title.

“As the ‘Ginoong Davao’ 2019, what I can contribute to Davao is my advocacy for the underprivileged of Davao City because I strongly believe that if we want Davao City to progress, we must focus on the grassroots level and that is the children of Davao City,” was his winning answer.

It was also followed by his completion of the phrase, “I am ‘Ginoong Davao’ 2019 because...” to which he continued with “...because I represent the modern Dabawenyo - a modern Dabawenyo that has the heart and the passion to serve the Dabawenyos.”
